HCS's residential treatment programs provide men and women from all backgrounds a chance to change their life, have a fresh start, rebuild relationships, and become productive, drug-free, and self sufficient members of the community.
The Company's programs encourage individuals to explore and identify the causes of their addiction to help them understand the behaviors and mechanisms leading to relapse and how to prevent it.
This program is offered at The Lighthouse at Anaheim treatment center, and is located in thriving Anaheim, California. This property offers residential treatment, outpatient and sober living services for men and women in both the private pay and public pay sectors.
HCS offers a variety of treatment programs that may include inpatient, residential, outpatient, and/or short-stay options.
The difference between inpatient and a residential treatment center is that inpatient services are provided by a licensed hospital. The length of stay depends on the severity and stage of the disease.
Once medically stabilized, clients receive all the necessary treatment needed for successful recovery.
The Lighthouse at Anaheim provides the following residential treatment services:
- Assessment / evaluation by counselors and medical staff
- One-on-one sessions with a licensed therapist
- Group counseling
- Individualized treatment planning
- Case management of multiple issues
- Alcohol and other drug education
- Medication monitoring when necessary
- Family Program
- Emphasis on peer support and self-help skills
- Introduction to 12 Step recovery principles and the recovery community
- Fitness membership at LA Fitness
- Alumni association activity
All group, individual and family therapy sessions are conducted by a multidisciplinary team, including supervision and direct leadership by appropriately licensed or state approved certified professionals, including Marriage and Family Therapists, Psychologists, Psychiatrists and Medical Doctors.
Educational sessions are conducted by appropriately licensed or certified individuals who may be members of the multidisciplinary team or by outside contracted individuals or organizations that are appropriately licensed or certified.
Residential Care is a structured treatment approach designed to prepare clients to return to the general community. Treatment is on a 24 hours per day, seven days per week basis, with weekly multi-disciplinary team and physician reviews.
Clients are expected to participate three times weekly in community based recovery programs approved and supervised by Lighthouse staff, to obtain a sponsor or mentor in their selected support system within two weeks, and are encouraged to invite appropriate family members to the family program or other appropriate involvement in treatment.
Sober living is a structured living environment provided for individuals who have achieved recovery and are desirous of a sober environment as they re-enter the community.
Individuals in sober living are expected to be employed or in school or otherwise actively involved in the community on a regular basis. Therapy is not provided in sober living, although individuals may be participating in outpatient treatment with the Lighthouse or other program.
Clients in sober living have a demonstrated ability to remain abstinent, are not in need of acute medical care, and will be actively involved in their own recovery, with a fully established support system as evidenced by verifiable activities, including commitments at a home support group.
